Well the car is back from the paint shop. It looks fantastic and I can’t wait to get it back together.

I popped into the paint shop today to see how they were getting on with the car. It’s been primered & they think the colour will go on towards the end of this week.

Now that the roof is replaced & the bodywork is good, it’s off to the paintshop for a well deserved respray. I’ll be keeping it Pewter Metallic.

The roof is now bonded to the car and it’s looking rather good! It lines up perfectly and the interior headlining is looking very nice. I’m real pleased with it. Read more here

I took the opportunity to deal with the headlining before the new roof was fitted to the car. I’ve used 6mm self-adhesive closed call foam covered with 2mm foam backed headlining material stuck on with contact adhesive. It does look very nice and I’m sure it will look even better once the roof is on the car!
